CCD in country
Currently piloted in trusted collaborations with mainly CCD Network members.
The ambition is to scale the approach to all relevant actors for cash and transfer assistance in the next 2 years.
Collaborations go through distinct stages. The CCD Network continuously study how to support their developments.
ETHIOPIA'S CCD NETWORK
Ethiopia's CCD network platform is an active coalition of 12 NGOs aiming to harmonise cash delivery for increased scale, efficiency, effectiveness and collective impact. By implementing the CCD’s model, it enabled the formation of a coalition and provided it with the framework they needed to move the needle forward for the Ethiopian cash community.
The Ethiopia CCD network materialised in an organic way, with numerous ongoing initiatives to foster collaboration at the advocacy, networking and operational levels. In order to enhance the clarity around the various initiatives and ensure decision-making is collaborative and representative of the wider membership, an overarching governance framework has been developed.
A new interim collaboration manager arrived in country in August 2019. She will:
help finalise the governance framework on how the Ethiopia CCD network will operate strategically, technically, and operationally
oversee the steering committee election
get sign-off on the national network's new member and proposal processes
host learning event on how the coalition can share learnings and best practices from each collaboration across the membership
build awareness about the Ethiopia CCD network, its role, and its relationship with the Ethiopia Cash Working Group
COLOMBIA'S CCD NETWORK

UGANDA'S CCD NETWORK
Uganda is a growth market for the network as cash programming in country is quite nascent. Twelve NGOs have signed an MoU and begun meeting to begin collaboration planning, devising an action plan, and drafting an advocacy strategy.
